Interfacing the city
Nakhon Pathom
High-Speed Railway Station
Project year: 2022
Academic Project
Location: Nakhon Pathom, Thailand
The development of high-speed rails and double-track railways in
the Nakhon Pathom district has caused a dramatic aesthetic shift
and generated traffic and safety issues in the local area. The station
was established to support the development of high-speed rails and
double-rack railways in Thailand as part of the government’s plan to
connect all rail systems and other regional transport systems.
The project aims to provide a people-centered solution for the
station’s design by studying the system of intermodal transportation,
create spaces that respond to the local context and enrich local lifestyle via the study of existing activity flows and circulations in the area.
