Excessive carbon emissions are generated through the process of transporting paper waste back and forth. The project speculated on ways in which new programs could expand the United States Postal Service and transform its mission to reduce emissions, in response to the current policy of the USPS.

By proposing waste collection and distribution systems and incorporating recycling and packaging programs in correspondence to the current Post Office Network System

The Pavilion provide an oasis of calm for students and visitors of the University campus during the rush of the end of the semester. Solar panels are installed on each pavilion’s canopy to harvest daylight for powering mobile device charging stations and embedded LED lighting systems that vibrantly glow at night.

The pavillion explored recycled material options for the pavilions’ skin, as well as research into photovoltaic (PV) technologies, which were used to generate power for the embedded lighting system.

The pop-up design follows through the playful approach of Urban Sophistication. Urban Sophistication is an experiential lifestyle brand focsusing on phone cases. The brand reinterpret everyday objects to encourage thoughts, feelings and conversations. The “soap phone case” inspired a large bubble-like inflatable structure, where visitors can experience the world of Urban Sophistication inside.

The project reimagines the Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture show. Elements from the original set design, including the bubblegum pink runway, white scaffolding, two-tiered metal runway, open stair case, and the silvermirrored show space, were used to create a new realm inspired by the show’s theme. The structure was divided into eight parts to resemble the octagonal dome of the original show.
